چکیده
Plants of the genus Polyscias (the family Araliaceae) are represented as perennial shrubs and commonly cultivated in southeastern Asia Pacific regions. Pharmacological studies revealed that crude extracts their isolated compounds exhibited a variety biological activity, such antibacterial, antifungal, cytotoxic, immuno-stimulant, wound healing anti-asthmatic activities. For first time, phytochemical study on methanol (MeOH) extract stem barks Vietnamese species serrata Balf. (locally named Dinh lang rang) resulted isolation NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance)-determination six 1-6. They include one nucleobase uracil (1), two nucleosides uridine (2) adenosine (3), alkaloid indole-3-carboxylic acid (4), mono-phenol glucoside koaburside (5), saponin randianin (6). The chemical structures these phytochemicals were elucidated by physicochemical, 1D-NMR [1H, 13C-NMR, DEPT (Distortionless Enhancement Polarization Transfer)], 2D-NMR [HSQC (heteronuclear single quantum coherence), HMBC (Heteronuclear Multiple Bond Correlation), COSY (correlation spectroscopy)] spectral, ESI-MS (Electron Spray Ionization-Mass Spectrum) data. This is time 2-6 have been obtained from Polyscias. In agreement with various reports, nitrogenous triterpene saponins can be seen characteristic metabolites Polyscia

متن کاملChemical constituents from stem bark and roots of Clausena anisata.
Phytochemical investigations on the stem bark and roots of the tropical shrub Clausena anisata led to the isolation and characterization three carbazole alkaloids: girinimbine, murrayamine-A and ekeberginine; two peptide derivatives: aurantiamide acetate and N-benzoyl-L-phenylalaninyl-N-benzoyl-L-phenylalaninate; and a mixture of two phytosterols: sitosterol and stigmasterol. The structures of ...
متن کاملLignan Glucosides from the Stem Barks of Illicium difengpi.
In this study, four new lignan glucosides, named difengpiosides A-D (1-4), were isolated from the stem barks of Illicium difengpi, together with seven known compounds 5-11. Their structures were identified on the basis of spectroscopic analyses (1D and 2D NMR, HRESIMS, CD) and a comparison with literature data. All the compounds were evaluated for their inhibitory effects on lipopolysaccharide ...
